La Cocoteraie

This hotel is very old. The rooms may have been nice 15 years ago, but not anymore. This hotel is no longer a 4 star hotel. Will not stay here next time i come. Even though i asked for another room, they would not give us one. The room smelled of old mould, parts of the apartment were broken and there were a lot of bugs in the room. The restaurant was expensive and nothing special. The breakfast was disturbed and shared with every bird in Guadeloupe. The bar was often empty on staff and the wi-fi only worked in the bar/lobby/restaurant area. To much money to pay for a room like this in an otherwise wonderful place like Guadelope. Spend your money somewhere else!

Great pool, small beach. Rooms were large but not in greatest shape. Property was very pretty and it was great to stay near the marina and have options for dinner, shopping, etc. we really enjoyed this hotel and would stay again.

The rooms of the hotel are very nice and large. You have two large rooms and a nice bathroom. Breakfast is ok. Plenty od food to choose from. Staff was nice if they understood what we were saying. But... Wifi is just in the lobby area near the reception and overall the hotel is not in a very good condition and needs repairs. Beach in front of the hotel is dirty and noone swims there. Either you go for the Anse Champagne nearby - nice one but not so good for swimming as well due to dirt from nearby harbour - or you stay at the beautiful hotel pool. We had a problem with the staff not speaking much English, this should not be an issue in a 4* hotel.

Hotel staff was very courteous. They called a reliable taxi service for us and were always available to help in any way. The room was spacious and clean. We felt very relaxed and safe. Free breakfast offerings were wonderful. Check in was about an hour late, though, & the noise from the nearby restaurants with live music could sometimes be heard at night. I do wish there was a way to make coffee/tea in room. I overall enjoyed my stay.

It does not worth 4 stars... Nice pool and area (close to the Marina with several restaurants) but the hotel is ageing (rust in the bathroom, broken tiles around the pool area), the bed was not comfortable at all, there was an unconsistent quality of breakfast (was missing coffee one morning, burnt pastries another day...)

Bel endroit. Accueil sympathique et personnalisé. Petit déjeuner un peu léger !!!

Ein schönes Hotel, dass leider schon in die Jahre gekommen ist. Instandsetzungsarbeiten werden offensichtlich nicht vorgenommen und das hilfreiche und freundliche Personal kann darüber nicht hinwegtäuschen.

Unfortunately, I was only here for two days. Pool and beach amenities were great. Morning breakfast included was amazing. Only comment is the lack of available WiFi save for the Hotel lobby, but in truth, in a climate and atmosphere as this, you should not be on WiFi!

Hôtel qui a dû être élégant quand il était neuf, donc il y a un temps certain et il a besoin d'être complètement rénové pour être au goût du jour. Pas de wifi dans les chambres (seulement à la réception), robinetterie largement piquée de rouille. Le seul point très positif est la gentillesse du personnel.
