Abbey Bed and Breakfast

Check in was a bit difficult, only because we didn’t realize the doorbell camera needed to be rung. Our fault. The beds were comfy and the bathroom was clean. The carpet was very dirty, hence the rating for cleanliness. Breakfast was traditional Irish and was delicious .

Very good stay with a great breakfast including. Had a newly refurbished room. Tea and coffee and biscuits available in dining room.

Booked Abbey B&B after being recommended by friend, have to say it was spot on , double room was ideal with en-suite with power shower, clean fresh bedding& very quiet. Breakfast was freshly cooked with as much tea & coffee as wanted Lovely sitting areas inside & out which was nice as we had perfect weather House was perfectly located to historical areas of Derry & 5 minute walk to town centre. Seamus ,Helen & Ellie were perfect hosts very welcoming and friendly Would I stay here again ? Only if they got nicer biscuits instead of those ginger snaps Mary & Gordon

The Abbey Bed and Breakfast was a quaint and pleasant stay. The staff were very nice. The rooms were private and spacious. We were a bit confused about check in and wish we received more guidance ahead of time about parking, how to enter the building, etc. The bathroom wasn’t in the best condition. But overall, pleasant stay and wish we could have stayed longer

Great property, central location, and fantastic hosts!

Location of the property was brilliant as close to the middle of town and facilities. Misleadingly advertised re parking as this was street parking and not on the property. Not an issue as it turned out but was not clear in the property description. Also, description talks about restaurant and laundry facilities but these were not offered and so assumed they did not exist. Staff were very friendly and breakfast was good without being outstanding. 3 stars adequately described the property but as a base for exploring Derry, it was good.

Excellent stay. Seamus, his wife Helen and Ella were so welcoming. Not far from bars, restaurants etc. Room very clean and beds really comfy. Breakfast really tasty. Thanks everyone loved it. Colette and Martin from Belfast. Highly recommend
