"Our "go to" place"

Fantastic location with great accessibility. Wonderful facilities. The warmest welcome (lemon drizzle cake) and delicious breakfast. Our "go to" when visiting family who live in the village. Wonderful.

"Incredible hotel full of charm, incredible staff and a wonderful breakfast."

Wonderful staff very friendly and everything was so well organised. Loved the honesty bar and all the walk/cycle information. Parking a bonus (but we didn’t need it). Wonderful old property full of character and charm. So clean and well thought out. Lovely and quiet away from busy roads. Would definitely visit again and the breakfast choice was incredible and the cooked breakfast was sensational (I’ve traveled a lot and one of the nicest English breakfasts I’ve ever eaten) Thank you

Very old house, restored with all modern amenities with deliberate love. Lovely staff. Ideally situated in the middle of New Forest. Several pubs and restaurants within walking distance. And a parking lot with your own name! Highly recommended.

"We love the New Forest but would probably stay elsewhere next time."

Location was great, breakfast was really good and staff were very friendly and welcoming.

Room was very small, the shower was an electric type which just trickled water which kept turning hot and cold, very annoying.

Το δωμάτιο ήταν ευρύχωρο και ευήλιο. Το πρωϊνό ήταν ικανοποιητικό.

Δεν υπήρχε ψυγείο στο δωμάτιο. Τα κεντρικά καλοριφέρ άναβαν με χρονοδιακόπτη και έπρεπε να περιμένουμε να ζεσταθεί το δωμάτιο για να κάνουμε ένα μπάνιο μόλις είχαμε φθάσει. Όταν το θέσαμε υπόψη, η απάντηση ήταν ότι μπορούσαμε να θέσουμε σε λειτουργία ένα διαθέσιμο καλοριφέρ λαδιού. Τέλος, δεν μας προσφέρθηκαν δωρεάν τσάϊ και κέϊκ σαν καλωσόρισμα όταν φτάσαμε και έπρεπε να το ζητήσουμε οι ίδιοι από το προσωπικό του καταλύματος.

"Homey & confortable."

Staff were friendly especially Roxanne who helped us with checking into our room. It was near to the gas station where we were able to buy some essentials. Also, very near to the bus stop & train station.

Food was a bit dry to our taste.

"Great escape to the New Forest"

Coffee and cake on arrival, lovely hot water and comfy bed, honesty bar, and delicious breakfast.
