Sefton Park Hotel

Pleasant Hotel, if a bit old fashioned. Close to park and near Pubs and Restaurants at Lark Lane. Good breakfast.

No lift system because of age of building. Bar prices seemed a bit on the high side.

Traffic noise

Location, parking, comfortable bed, friendly and efficient reception staff.

Very friendly reception staff, squeaky clean and comfortable little room (it was just me) in the eaves overlooking the park.

Walls are too thin, I had to sleep with ear plugs all night as I could hear next door’s snoring!

The staff were great and it was clean. Great historical information and photos etc about The Beatles and Stuart Sutcliff in particular.

The room was hot and we had to wedge the window open as it wouldn't stay open by itself. Unfortunately as the room was at the front, it was very noisy due to the traffic outside which kept us awake. The room had recently been upgraded but the bathroom hadn't been finished off properly, which we reported back to the staff.
