Staff were so friendly and helpful, room was lovely and breakfast was great. If we ever find ourselves that way again we will definitely stay again, absolutely recommend.

A delicious breakfast with an extensive range of choices, with cereals, juices, yogurt, croissants, toast and hot options. The homemade smoked salmon was lovely. The room was comfortable and well equipped.

The tasting menu with wine flight was excellent, served beautifully, and with impressive information about what we were eating and drinking. Not one trick pony either as the breakfast was also amazing.

There was nothing missing in our bedroom and location was exactly as requested. It may be that the owners have not yet completed their refurbishment, but some of the furniture seemed a little 'tired'. An information pack about the hotel, facilities and surrounding areas would be nice.

The food and service was exceptional. Everything on the menu was locally sourced.

Very pleasant room with decor to suit the period of the building. Clean and comfortable. Despite being near a main road it was remarkably quiet in the room. Great Breakfast. High quality evening meal. Doggy friendly (sausage treats for our little dog at breakfast and evening meal!)
