TownePlace Suites by Marriott Albany Downtown/Medical Center

Rooms are a great size and layout, but are outdated and not overly clean. Breakfast is standard with a small eating area, and the gym is small but serves its purpose. Parking is paid, charged to the room, and needs a hotel key to get in and out. Probably better options out there in the area.

Not much in walking distance, but good location for a quick trip downtown. Bedroom more spacious than the living space, which made it a bit tight with a family of 4 (2 kids under 7). Some lights didn't work, glass on a mirrored closet door was cracked, and the TVs were real funny with the remotes trying to operate 2 menus with the same button at the same time. Room was a little musty, But, The breakfast was excellent, water was hot, plenty of dishes and storage in the kitchen. Breakfast provided was a great spread. The parling lot is secured, and overall we had a great time here.

Accused of smoking when i didnt i accidentally burned a pan

The reception staff was awesome, friendly, personable and they were smiling, so very unusual. Casey and the young man that checked us in were so very friendly.
