Quality Inn & Suites Munising

Overall, it wasn't terrible, but I wouldn't stay here again. The front desk and service staff were friendly and helpful, but the entire hotel had a very rustic, backwoods vibe. My room apeared clean, but things like the mattress, doors, tub, toilet, tile, and bathroom caulking were so worn out or outdated that the room could never feel truly welcoming to me. Also, the pictures and description on Expedia clearly advertised a pool and hot tub -- in fact, this is the reason why I chose this hotel over another option. However, I realized only after I checked in that the entire pool house was closed, to the point that the windows and doors had been covered up. That isn't a temporary, unforeseen problem with the pool house -- that's a long-term closure that should have been clearly communicated before I had ever booked the room.

Secluded, quiet, cheap, free breakfast

Clean, comfortable.

The room was not overly dirty. But the smell, was horrible! I understand when I’m traveling with a dog I’m not getting the best room. Unfortunately I’m paying the same as everyone else and getting a way lesser room. I get that. But come on! The smell of urine on the carpet was so horrible!! My dog is a 9 pound, non shedding animal. Just makes me mad when I’m paying the same and getting literally a disgusting smelling room where I can see the urine stains. Halls of the hotel were pretty gross too. Staff was friendly was our only upside.

Some variety with breakfast would be nice. The staff was fantastic and worked to resolve an issue for me.

We stayed two night. The room was not cleaned. We were told the will not be cleaned until the third day.

It was clean, the staff was great and it was centrally located to everything we wanted to do. Great stay!

Air conditioner in the room kept turning off and would not get lower than 74 degrees
