"No sleep or shower and no compensation"

The night I checked in, the fire alarm wet off at 2:30 am. All of the guests were out in the street while we waited for the fire department to arrive and check the entire building. It turned out, there was a problem with the hot water and when I returned to my room the hallway was filled with steam and stifling. I failed to fall back asleep and in the morning there was no water for a shower. When I asked the front desk for some kind of compensation they said they were not authorized and gave me an email to contact (dulleshpdesk@ih-corp.com). I wrote three messages and never received any acknowledgement. This is not the way to treat a guest who paid full price for a room and was not able to sleep or shower in it. I have given two stars instead of one because of the building engineer who was on duty that night and was absolutely wonderful. That man should get a raise.

My husband found multiple hairs in his coffee at breakfast. Disgusting! Also several lightbulbs in the room were burned out.

The location was close to airport in what looks like a mix of housing and hotels. The room was larger than I expected, which was a plus.

The water pressure was weak from the shower head. The bed seemed a bit overused because it sunk in. I had to lower a/c to 60 to make the room cold.

The room was nice clean and comfortable. The breakfast was legit. Real eggs and sausage and decent coffee.

Elevator inspection certificate was expired by more than a year.
