Pacific Sands Beach Resort

Great location, bike rental on site, close to town of tofino.

Living room area was quite small, we had to move the dining table and chairs each time we had a meal.booked ocean view but was given garden view. Pull out sofa was terribly springy. Staff were friendly, but I doubt we will book here again.

Loved the location and property. The convenience of renting surf equipment and having lessons right there was amazing. We normally stay at Cox Bay Beach Resort next door and I have also stayed at Longbeach Lodge. We had an amazing suite right overlooking the ocean. The coffee shop is great. We decided to see if the extra cost of Pacific Sands was worth it over Cox Bay Beach Resort. Surf Sisters was great and also rented bikes to ride into town, which was fun.

The room smelled like a wet dog and we are not dog people. Would have loved access to a hot tub and laundry facilities in the suite. The dishwasher was terrible, requiring multiple re-starts.

Every suite has a view of the beach, all very well set up for staying and being comfortable.

We needed a plunger twice. Rene was great and arrived very quickly to deal with the toilet problems but it did present an inconvenience.
