No bar or restaurant

Located on one of the best beaches on Vancouver Island — spectacular views, crashing ocean waves, comfortable rooms, all within close proximity of the beach. All the amenities you need for your stay — pots, pans, coffee maker, toaster, etc., including a cribbage board and cards !! Love it that the balcony windows are tall so that you can see the waves and be protected from the wind. Also has charging stations for those of us that drive hybrid plug in cars, all free of charge.

We weren’t informed of construction that was being done during our entire stay, literally right outside our room — backhoe and dump trucks going constantly, so loud that you couldn’t hear the ocean. I brought it up with management and although the work couldn’t be stopped, the GM took care of us and came up with a very adequate solution — we look forward to returning to the property again next year.

Breakfast not included. Snack place open from 7-2. No restaurant but one planned for the future There was construction right beside my deck. This was super annoying. I had not been informed of this. Mgt offered me a 15% discount. Personally 1 night free would have been better
