The SaltRose and the Beach Shack were both great (the Halibut was so delicious at the SaltRose, and the bagel breakfast sandwiches at the Beach Shack were also delicious), the service was great!

Housekeeping only made beds (which were comfy btw).

Views, right on the beach. Cafe made breakfast easy.

No hot tub, had to pay additional and book saunas. They were vacant and $200 for 2 people is a lot.

"A great view and base but not much else."

It was tranquil - we had a wonderful view - and the apartment was very nice. We were upgraded (well we paid more but dicounted) for a house. Everything you'd need for a self-catering vacation.

There was no bar or restaurant (but we knew that so that's not their issue) - but it really needs one. The coffee shop is only open to 2pm and is a little expensive - you can't charge to your room! Everything extra is third party - if you're paying $600+ a night I do expect more service/help with facilities. To use BBQ - extra: firepit - extra: sauna - extra and crazy $$. So I would say I enjoyed the stay but it wasn't quite up to the money it charged.
