Moonrise Hotel

We stayed here on our way to Oklahoma from Chicago. We chose the hotel because it seemed interesting. It turned out to be located in an area near a university with a main street that had many dining and entertainment options. The room was clean and large with good amenities. The overall theme was cute. Good stay.

Great staff. Excellent location. Clean room. This is our preferred hotel.

I'm sure once upon a time this was a nice property, but now it is definitely showing signs of wear and in need of some serious upkeep. The room I was provided, which was supposed to be a "better" one because my previous stay with them was not up to par; May 25 after the tornado, was without television during the entire stay and bathroom sink was holding water. After explaining this to the assistant GM, and he assuring me they would do better with this stay, I thought I would give them another try. Unfortunately, they struck out with strike "2!" Assistant GM, Clay, offered to make it better, but there was no way he could do that without a construction crew. The bathroom was a total disaster...I understand it is a boutique hotel so a small bathroom was to be expected, but the door on the shower wouldn't even slide open all the way and you literally had to slide into the shower, between the door frame and shower wall. Also the walls of the bathroom were covered with white chalky film smeared over the worn looking wall paper. Not aesthetically pleasing at all. When your bathroom doesn't appear clean, how can you feel clean? It was a girlfriend getaway weekend and I was responsible for choosing our hotel. Needless to say, Moonrise is not the spot to choose if you are trying to impress someone, or anyone for that matter.

Housekeeping is poor. Mold in showers and bathroom. Light fixtures not working.

Clean, but the rooms didnt have any microwave nor tables, so if you had left over food or purchase food out you had no places to eat, cause they have roof top with places to eat but no outside food or drinks

The layout is Magnificent, It's truly a Moonrise ❤️🌹❣️

I will be back! This may be my go to when visiting for work! Love and recommend. So clean, so cozy, quiet, comfortable and the staff is fabulous!

The room was nice, some what worn, but there was no maid service unless requested. The lobby usually smelled like weed, as does the area. It took 45 minutes to check in with only 1 employee working. The restaurant for breakfast was good. Very nice woman working there.

Would stay again if in St. Louis. Friendly staff, new property, walkable neighborhood, clean, unique decor, nice rooms.

This place is awsome in every way! My dog was welcomed in every way! Super great staff. Beautiful roof with bar that has great food and great drinks!!! Love, love, love it here!!!
