"Surprised this is still in Marriott's portfolio "

I guess this is what happens when a major hotel chain concentrates its effort on new concepts and properties. As a Bonvoy member with a gazillion points, this experience only reminds me why I am using up my Bonvoy points and concentrating my efforts on Hyatt and Hilton. I'm not that hard to please but a comfortable bed, working internet, and a clean room (with a non-cleaning smell are about all I really expect). This dump fails on all counts!

"Terrible!!"

It was awful, the employee refused to stay at the hotel and I had to rebook him. He said it was filthy and the smell of mold was overwhelming. He tried to just stay, but once he got in his room, he said there was no way he would stay at this hotel. Hotel did agree to not charge and I am working on a refund from Hotels.com. This employee travel A LOT and said he has never seen such a horribly kept hotel.

"This place was TERRIBLE"

The ceiling leaked water on the bed starting at 2:45am. The desk clerk said SORRY, that was all. She didn't offer to move us or come check on it. She said she would see what she could do about getting us a refund. When i checked out the new desk clerk said she couldn't do anything for me. No refund, no sympathy, not even another sorry. She said I had booked thru a 3rd party so I had to ask them for a refund. I'm asking now, I want a full refund! This was a terrible experience and i will never stay at another Fairfield property.

The room was just ok. Few stains on the carpet, missing a piece of the wall in the bathroom. Definitely not up to the standards I have seen in other Fairfield inns in the past. Need an update, especially with the brand new hotel that just opened next door
