La Quinta by Wyndham Orange

My fiance and I chose this spot along a road trip - there were other comparable places at similar and even cheaper price points but for whatever reason we chose this one. That was a mistake. I walked into a lobby where a man was barefoot and dirty and was behaving erratically, shouting and smashing his fist into his hands, sounding threatening and had been beating on other guests doors..the receptionist was visibly afraid as was I, she was waiting on someone to come and take care of the situation and didnt check us in until 10-15 mins later because of this "situation" where the man would have possibly lashed out at any given moment violently. Despite the man not listening to their request to sit down or calm down, no police were called that entire time Finally a manager came and simply escorted him back to his room. We should have left right then, as we were concerned the man might come out again, but took our chances as it was late and we were tired from traveling. When we got to our room and got settled it was INFESTED with cockroaches. I tried to speak with the receptionist who would have offered some compensation for the experience, but she wasnt able to do that as we booked through a third party app, so she said to speak with the general manager as he would have the power to offer some compensation and rectify the situation. However, he did respond a couple of days later only to say thanks for the feedback, we heard this was taken care of eventually and we spray for bugs once a month, followed up by a ridiculous: and we hope you'll stay with us again So yeah, do NOT stay here as they don't care about guest experience, safety, or cleanliness.

Luktet surt og gammelt. Veldig mye støy fra trafikken utenfor.

Close to gas stations eateries and easy on to highway. The room was nice and comfortable.

The room was in need of care. Paint job on doors etc was shabby and carpet in need of deep cleaning.

The lobby

Rooms where not clean. Water ran out brown. Room was very very dusty asked for them to simply dust they for not. Bathroom tub not cleaned.
