Clean, house keeping extremely friendly and helpful

The facility and rooms were very nice and accommodating. Everything was clean and most all of the employees were happy to be of service (except one) she refused to give me her name, but worked the front desk during the morning hours. "Explanation in next section"

This was my second night in a row staying at your establishment. The first night was no problems. The second night was a disaster, or should I say that second morning. I had been working on my truck all day in the heat after my radiator blew. It took all day to replace and I had my wife make reservations at your hotel again. I didn't check in my reservation until late that night and got little to no sleep. The next morning it was getting close to check out time at 11:00 (pretty standard) I was very tired and had politely requested a late check out if possible and I was willing to pay extra if necessary. This is when everything went south. She absolutely refused and told me check out is at 11:00 and if I wasn't out by then she would charge my card for another night. My comment at that time was you can't give me an extra hour to pack my things. She said no and if you aren't out by 11 again said she would charge my card. I was appalled that she was that disrespectful and unaccommodating. Considering I had not been to her. I have stayed at your hotel several times before and this was by far the most disrespectful and degrading I have ever been treated at any hotel. After she refused even 30 minutes extra to get my belongings, I went upstairs to pack up. This was now about 10:45 am. At 11:00 exactly I have housekeeping banging on my door to get out. I commented that I am getting my things together and will be right out. Within 2 minutes of that, the lady from the front desk had come up to my room, demanding that I get out or she would have to call the police because "I was now loitering! At 11:10 I am now loitering!" I told her to call the police that I would be glad to talk with them. I also asked again why there is no supervisor working at the time. So I opened the door to see that she had brought a large gentleman from maintenance to help her force me out.

The room was very clean and comfortable

The staff person on duty when I checked out on Saturday morning was beyond rude. The day before I also stayed at this hotel and for a 25 fee I was allowed to check-in early. When I checked out on Saturday the 11th I asked the person working the front desk if I could pay the additional 25 fee to have a late check out at 1pm instead of 11pm. She said nope! I asked to speak with a manager or supervisor and she said no one was around and that it was just her. I thought it was odd that I could pay for an early check-in but was told no for a late check out because they dont do that. She then came pounding on my door with a maintenance man telling me to get out and that she was going to charge me for another day because I was 12 minutes late from checking out. I guess she brought this guy for intimidation. She was the rudest hotel staff I have ever come across and she should be fired. I did nothing to instigate this behavior from her. She was argumentative, combative, and her behavior was inappropriate. Because of her La Quinta has lost my business!

Staff was really nice and room was clean. A good value right off i-10. Lobby really spacious and well decorated. Gym equipment worked well.

Breakfast English muffins, pastries kind of stale. Not the hotel's fault per se, but there were transient workers (presumably from a construction project nearby) out back that seemed to be sleeping in their car and weren't shy about sitting out by their cars and being loud. As a result, felt unsafe walking dog late at night back there.

Location was utmost for me.
