The Villa is beautiful and we had everything we could have imagined. The staff was kind and very helpful. The pool was cleaned frequently, the staff helped us book everything from hopper flights, golf carts and excursions. Villa Sole Mate was perfect. It was a great getaway! Quiet, peaceful and many restaurants to choose from with fantastic meals. Delicious seafood meals all week!

We had such a wonderful time! The Villa was beautiful! Spacious, beautifully decorated, comfy beds and a lovely patio overlooking the pool and out to the ocean. Staff was very friendly and so accommodating. Housekeeping visited our Villa daily. What a pleasure to return to a perfectly made bed and fresh towels in the bath. Our 6 seater golf cart (everyone in San Pedro drives a golf cart!) allowed us to be only minutes away from delicious eateries like The Truck Stop, Marbucks and The Farmhouse. A 30 minute jaunt took us to the beautiful Secret Beach! Here you can wade into the clear waters and be served your favorite food and drink! Look down from your picnic table and you may see some colorful fish scurry by your toes. San Pedro is a charming place to visit and the waters offer splendid snorkeling and diving. We had a fabulous vacation and were so glad we chose to stay at the Villa Sol Mate.

Beautiful place in the best location. It is close to everything and has the most beautiful beachfront view. The staff were amazing and arranged everything seamlessly. I would recommend Villa Sol Mate to anyone who is looking to visit Belize!

Words do not adequately express what a great experience we had at Villa Sol Mate! The resort is gorgeous! Everything from beginning to end was seamless. Upon arrival, resort staff greeted us with a refreshing welcome drink while our luggage was taken to the villa. The villa is beautifully decorated and very spacious- and clean! We were welcomed with fresh cut flowers throughout the space. The beds are comfortable and there are plenty of pillows. Great kitchen and bathrooms with all the amenities you could possibly need. The balcony is quite large and has plenty of comfortable seating to take in views of the pool and ocean. Perfect spot to start the morning with a coffee or wind down in the evening with a glass of wine. We had a private chef cook for us in the villa one evening. They took care of shopping, prep and cleanup. It was wonderful to relax after a long pool day and enjoy dinner at “home” without any of the work! The pool area is absolutely beautiful. We spent time in the pool every day and loved relaxing in the hammocks. Perfect view of the beach and private pier. The resort manager provided several recommendations for lunch and dinner, none of which disappointed! We loved taking the short golf cart ride to The Farmhouse and Marbucks for smoothies and iced coffee! Our favorite restaurants were Elvis (Have to get the curry) and Carambas for fresh seafood. We spent a day at Secret Beach enjoying lunch in the water! Perfect place for water volleyball or just relaxing in a tube! We spent one afternoon snorkeling, which was amazing. Pick up and drop off on the private resort pier - doesn’t get better than that! Stingrays, turtles, nurse sharks and too many fish to name! We loved our time in Belize and our stay at Villa Sol Mate! It was paradise!! Can’t wait to come back!!

First time staying at this property and I absolutely loved it! From the beginning, the staff were so welcoming and attentive! They gave great recommendations for things to do in the area! The front desk staff were so punctual and had ever ready when needed! Our villa was super clean and spacious. It was a lovely time! Only downside was it being on the Lagoon side of the island, so wasn’t much beach area, however, the boat tours and other activities made up for it! Would stay again!

Villa Sol Mate is the perfect oceanfront rental! The resort is beautiful and right on the beach with a pier. It is quiet and felt secluded. The resort staff greeted us upon arrival and answered all our questions while taking our luggage to the unit. The rental is located on the second floor and tastefully decorated with local art and comfortable furniture. The chairs and couch were perfect for coffee and chatting in the mornings. The balcony has lots of comfortable seating that overlooks the pool and ocean. The unit is spacious and well cared for. It was very clean with crisp white sheets and bedding. The bed was the most comfortable bed and I slept amazing every night. Each room had overhead fans and great pillows. You can control the air conditioner in each bedroom too. The 3 bathrooms were clean and well stocked. Plenty of towels were provided and were clean and plush. The kitchen was well stocked with everything you would need. We did not cook but staff provided the name for a private chef that we used. The meal was amazing and the chef provided all the food and clean up. The resort did not disappoint in any way! The staff was friendly and helped with everything needed. They provide bikes and adjusted seats for our ride to get breakfast. There are lots of close food options a short golf cart or bike ride away. They provide kayaks and fitted us with life jackets and helped get the kayaks. There was also fishing available. Make sure to take advantage of the kayaks and explore the water and the reef area. We could see fish and sting rays through the crystal clear water. The kayak was my favorite part of the trip! There was plenty to do on the island. Secret beach can’t be missed and a short golf cart ride. Caye Caulker is a 20 minute ferry ride and was a fun day excursion to swim with the sting rays and feed them. There were great restaurants and a place at “The Split” to jump from a high platform. Only bad part was having to leave! My photos do not have filters, it is really that beautiful! I can’t wait to take my family back and show them after my trip with my friends. Highly recommend this resort and Villa Sol Mate for your trip to Belize! You will not be disappointed and won’t want to leave.

Beautiful place to stay and very safe

My five friends & I stayed in a 3 bdr/3bath March 7th-11th 2024! The staff was amazing, our villa was clean, spacious, and we overall give it a 10/10. Anything we needed or asked for, they delivered! It was so calm and relaxing! It's also not too far away from secret beach! They were more than accomodating to my friends and I! Caesy was an amazing manager and anything we requested she delivered!! We deeply THANK YOU for making our stay absolutely unbelizable!!! Until next time :)!!!

Words can’t describe how much we loved this place and all the staff! We had our honeymoon there and Esmy did a great job with our ceremony for our wedding. Caesy the manager was always so responsive with everything! Even helped me with my bouquet! David and the rest of the staff were all amazing! Everyone on staff were just so great! I can’t say enough! Every time we called for something it was always done immediately! The property was so clean and beautiful! Equipped with everything we needed! We even cooked! Our time was too short there but we promised we will be going back! I absolutely love this place and if I can give 100 stars I would! The experience was something I have never had before! I’ll see you guys soon!!! 🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼 thank you for such great service!!!! I was so sad to leave!
