Belizean Cove Estates

Gorgeous condos on the north end of ambergris Caye. We loved this section of the island. Out of town, but with quick access to secret beach and lots of restaurants. We had tour operators pick us up at the resort pier and it’s a quick 5 min boat ride to town to check in with operators. The condos were well appointed and clean. No laundry in unit. The only negatives were that there is smelly seaweed but that is unfortunately very common. Also they apparently allow smoking on the terraces and that was unwelcome with our party. The staff were gracious and attentive to any issues that came up. We would stay here again!

Amazing! This was our second time staying at Villa Solemar! The unit it awesome 3beds/3baths full kitchen so we were able to cook instead of going out. The people make Belizean Cove special. Myrtle with housekeeping. David, Sylvia and Casey in the office. The pool is perfect. Even if others are using it, doesn’t feel crowded. Thanks again Belizean Cove for another great two weeks in Belize! Can’t wait to return!!

It was very peaceful. No music playing all the time or lots of people, yet you could easily walk to their sister property if you wanted music, food, and activities. The staff scheduled all our activities for us.

Villa Sole Mate at Belizean Cove Estates is amazing. From the comfy beds, the large dining table and the comfortable sofa and sitting area. Even better is the large balcony that overlooks the pool and the Carribean Sea. It has a beautiful large pool and hot tub, and you can walk right out to the beach. I do recommend wearing water shoes because the beach is not sandy to protect the coral. We enjoyed kayaking and paddle boarding around the pier and you can also paddle to some of the restaurants nearby. We also rode the bikes that are provided to Farmhouse for some breakfast and yummy smoothies and did some exploring off the beaten path. Caesy the manager is the best. She is so nice and helpful and booked our catamaran excursion that picked us up at our private dock. All the workers are very nice and accommodating. Be sure to meet Myrtle. She is a hoot and can give you tips on places to go. We enjoyed going places and exploring on the golf cart. Be sure to go to San Pedro and Secret Beach which are approximately a 30-minute golf cart ride. We tried some of the local food at the stands along the road, it was delicious and very inexpensive. All the locals are very nice and friendly. They go out of their way to be helpful. I felt very safe. I can't say enough about the great time my four friends and I had at Ambergris Caye and our stay at Villa Sole Mate. We hope to be back.

I stayed in Villa Sol Mate for a wonderful week on a girlfriend’s trip. The 3 bedroom,3 bath villa was amazing with breathtaking views of the resort pool and Carribean Sea. We fell in love with the Belizian folks,especially Myrtle our wonderful housekeeper and now friend. Casey and all the staff at Carribean Cove were so kind and helpful. From breakfast at Farmhouse,biking to Rum Dogs and dancing at The Truck Stop,it was so much fun! Be sure to spend a day at Secret Beach! My new favorite beach! Such a great time in the water and don’t forget to have a beach massage while you are there. The Best!! The Catamaran and snorkeling excursion was UNBELIZABLE! We saw sting rays and swam with Nerf Sharks. We stopped at Cay Caulker and enjoyed rum punch and ceviche compliments of our captain and crew on the catamaran. The villa includes complimentary kayaks,bikes and paddle boards. Don’t forget to take advantage of these as we did It was a dream adventure and hope to return sooner than later!! We stayed at the beautiful Villa Sole Mate at the Belizean Cove Estates. It was a very private area with eight gorgeous condos.. The Villa Sole Mate was beautiful and fully furnished .Everything was brand new in the condo. We did not want for anything. The beds were very comfortable and I have never slept better. The balcony was very large and looked over the pool and the Caribbean waters.. The hot tub that was connected to the pool area felt amazing. It had a private boat dock where catamarans and boats could pick you up for your excursions. The staff was amazing. Casey, the manager, booked our excursions. We went snorkeling and swam with the sharks, used the kayaks and paddle boards at the villa, rode the provided bikes through San Pedro, they helped us rent a golf cart for the week, we were able to easily order food on nights we did not want to venture out, plus the maintenance and cleaning staff were both friendly and provided excellent service. The area is extremely beautiful and we had a very relaxing and fun week. I would definitely recommend the Villa Sole Mate. It offers privacy, but you are a simple golf cart ride to everything in San Pedro. Belize is a wonderful place to vacation. You may choose from numerous adventures, relax at the pool, and/or the Villa, enjoy fabulous food, and drink, and feel very safe there among the people that live there. They were all so extremely friendly to all of us.

Amazing property very well-kept. Highly recommended the only down flaw the beach, which in most cases in San Pedro is very dirty. Not property fault.

We stayed at Villa Sol Mate and it was absolutely amazing. This location has everything from the private location to amazing staff. You can order food in or there’s tons of options to get groceries or eat out. Everything is within a golf cart ride away. The staff helped us schedule deep sea fishing and a catamaran that took us snorkeling, swimming with sharks, and to another island to have lunch. They picked us up at our dock. All the locals are extremely friendly and there’s tons activities and places to visit to keep you busy. The condo has 3 bedrooms with private bathrooms and a huge deck that overlooks the ocean and pool. We’ll be back next year!

What a fantastic week our family had. This place is as gorgeous as it looks in the photos online. The staff was terrific and did everything they could to help make our stay as good as possible. Snorkeling expeditions, great dinners at all of the nearby restaurants and a great day at Secret Beach! Our kids loved it and so did we!
