Paloma Perissia

This is absolutely the easiest review I could ever write. When we first arrived I was initially put off by our room (we reserved a suite) and how busy the main restaurant was (quite overwhelming when you’re tired and hungry). However when I expressed our disappointment with the room, we were moved the next day and once we settled in and were well rested, we really saw how fantastic this hotel was. The staff are what makes Paloma Perissia special; it was spotless and they worked very hard with a smile and friendliness that was genuine. I have a gluten intolerance and as soon as I made them aware, I was introduced to the head chef or restaurant manager every day and they helped me navigate the huge buffet (with endless choices) at the restaurant as well as making me special gluten free dishes, without even asking! I was blown away! The staff at every bar were also very welcoming and often made us cocktails off of the menu. We would definitely return to Paloma Perissia, and would recommend it to anybody that asks! Thank you for a wonderful holiday!

Great location and excellent staff

Evening entertainment was enjoyable, and on some nights it was outstanding, among the best I’ve ever experienced. The food was very decent, with a good variety. There were plenty of shared spaces and bars to relax in, all pleasant and comfortable. The sea was clean, and the bed was surprisingly comfortable.We had some really good sleep. The views are one of these features in this hotel, starting your day with the breakfast and the amazing view is just my favourite way.

The room was full of dust on the walls and furniture, with cobwebs everywhere. The furniture was very dated. The beach was the worst part of our stay, and we spent most of our time there. Service was practically non-existent, during our entire stay we were only asked once if we wanted a drink. Guests by the pool seemed to have sunbed service, but at the beach we had none. The sunbeds were filthy and extremely old. To make matters worse, people from other hotels were allowed to use the sunbeds and stay on the beach, leaving no sense of security for our belongings. Service in the main restaurant was also disappointing: while tables were cleared quickly, we were almost never offered drinks and had to hunt down staff to order.For 3 people, we paid £4.2 k. If the stay had matched that price, I’d probably rate it 10/10, but for what we paid, it fell short in several key areas.

Fantastisk personale, mad, underholdning og service. Jeg var tit alene med min 1 årige datter på hotellet, og personalet var så søde og hjælpsomme til at hjælpe mig med drikkevare, bære ting og finde højstol. Restaurantpersonalet var hurtige, maden var super fin, god hygiejne og kæmpe udvalg af frisk mad. Ingen støj på værelserne, sengene var gode og værelserne var rene. Der var altid plads ved poolen, selv de dage hvor vi først var der kl 10.00. Eneste minus ved hotellet er sælgerne ved poolen, samt at deres bestilling til poolen via App ikke virker (fjern skiltene?) og der kun er 1 tjener ved poolen. A very relaxing holiday. The staff were amazing and very helpful. the proximity to the beach was amazing and just the best place to be during the day. Good choice of food and plenty of places to eat and drink.

There were not enough sun loungers by the pool - not helped by people getting up well before breakfast and putting their towels on, with no intention of using it until much later in the day. Very infuriating. But really, that was the only thing !

Very good place for its price! Has a lot of activities everywhere, close to the beach, good food and 3 a la cart restaurants! If you have a special day, you can be sure that staff will organise your day perfectly! You can order a flowers for your beloved one, for additional price! There is a convenient store which is very good when missed something, all essential items you can find there, as well as a currency exchange! Service is very good, all employees are doing great work, polite, kind and helpful! Good for families with kids! I enjoyed my stay very much! Thank you so much, everyone! Keep it up!
