Plenty of space to sit inside and out, by a fire, watching the ocean and sunsets. The roads to and from Timber Cove still has my heart energized with thrill.

Can't beat the setting or the service. Slept so well. Food was fresh and delicious. Bar had everything from Shirley Temples to French 75s.

Hotel was overpriced for a small motel like room with basic amenities and an underwhelming view. We were treated poorly on check in and don’t believe the room we were allocated should be labeled “ocean cove view” (see pic). Hotel common areas and grounds were lovely, it’s a shame we were disappointed.

Such a perfect hideaway. I'll be back!

We were here for a wedding. The hotel is in a spectacular setting above the Pacific Ocean. The room (Ocean View) was spacious and comfortable. Staff were friendly and helpful. The great room was easy to access and provided a central meeting point. We really enjoyed the food at Coast Kitchen. The grounds have several trails/paths that lead to beautiful views of the coast. We appreciated the EV charging facilities.

We were initially checked into an "upgraded" room. It was very nice, but there was a high pitched whine in the room. When I went to the desk, the clerk knew about the noise, and said when guests complain about it they "usually move them to a new room." So obviously, this is an ongoing problem, so maybe not an "upgraded" room. The room should be put out of order until the problem is fixed, not continued to be used. We were then put in a room with a lofted bed. My husband was too tall to do the spiral stairs without hitting his head on the beam at the top, so he slept on the couch below. For the price we paid, I wasn't impressed. The restaurant food and service was very good, and the lobby with the roaring fireplace was nice. The location and the hiking trails were nice. I worked in hotels for 12 years and was not impressed with how they handled the room situation.
