The water wouldn’t drain in the shower or the sink. Had the room smelling awful. The front desk only offered $50 towards their restaurant and bar

"Hopefully it’s nice after the construction…"

The construction going on is insane. There was literally jackhammers on the floor above my room from 9am-5pm. Luckily I was gone during the day but intentionally tried to wait until after 5pm to go back to the hotel and left for the airport early to avoid it.

"Avoid - undergoing a renovation and they won't notify you up front."

This hotel is currently a disaster. It is undergoing a full renovation (which we were not notified of beforehand or during booking). No amenities were available for use, construction noise woke us up in the morning, the room we had was not particularly clean and painfully ugly. Given how our room looked, I understand why they are renovating, but I paid a lot of money to stay in a nice hotel, and this place was terrible.

Location was about it and they had a slice of cake waiting for my child in the room for their birthday. If any of the amenities were in service I’m sure they would’ve been lovely.

Website was unclear just how much was being renovated at the time. When we arrived it may as well have just been shut down until the repairs were over. No parking available, had to pay for it across the street instead of in their garage. We were only staying one night for an 8 year old’s birthday to give them a night of luxury, and this was NOT IT. The cake was the only nice touch. Manager didn’t tell me the elevator required the keycard so I got stuck in there and had a full on panic attack until someone opened it to go to their floor after beating on the doors yelling for someone’s help. No staff came, and the emergency number in the elevator went to a full voicemail box.
