wonderful architecture, setting and service. It was a beautifully relaxing experience, a beautiful escape from the world we live in, in a beautiful environment.

All perfect, the view of the sea are magical, the staff it's ver attentive, the room service perfect.

We chose Hotel Punta Islita, Autograph Collection for our stay in Costa Rica. While we travel quite a bit, we had not been to CR. I was somewhat dubious from the online pictures, but left reluctantly and wanting to return. Our stay found me remembering the early Hawaii and other such special locations. Life at the hotel was easy, quiet, friendly, accommodating, and fondly memorable. We want to go back. Our room was spacious, well-decorated and very clean, and we had flowers arranged throughout the suite every evening. Besides the room, we had a small yard and patio with a very private, tiled hot tub over-looking the scenic resort, hotel beach club, and the ocean. The hotel staff is always wanting to please, and always at your service without being noticeable. Upon arrival, I was brought a refreshing tropical drink to cool me down. It is easy to understand how the entire property is known as "the Autograph Collection".

The most interesting and impressive part about Punta Islita is the commitment to economic and social sustainability. There is local art village were community women run a museum and shop. Plus there is community daycare so locals can work at the hotel. Plus local environmental programs have encouraged reforestation and a macaw preservation project. The macaws are chattering and visible all over the property, making it a really unique experience!

This small luxury resort allows guests to get close to nature and experience real Tico hospitality. Complimentary activities like kayaking, horseback riding and zip lining are a nice feature. Because of its remote location, dining options are limited but the restaurant and beach bar serve excellent food. Great experience!

Absolutely an amazing stay!! I would highly recommend this place. Best for couples. Johan is the best bartender and all staff is so friendly, helpful, and polite. My boyfriend and I did not want to leave. Would definitely visit again!
