Staff were welcoming and helpful. Waffles in the evening were great. It was within walking distance to the bus stop for the airport and everything else we needed.

"Good hotel"

This is a reasonably priced hotel which is well presented and clean, it also provides free tea/coffee and waffles for you to make after 6pm. Its in the centre of the city, in a quiet location. Reception staff are helpful and my family had a pleasant stay.

Comfortable Stay. Very close to the harbour. Lot’s of cafes, restaurants & supermarkets near by. Polite and helpful staff. Room was comparatively small but very clean and hygienic.

We were moved to another hotel within the same family. Instead of staying at the Viking Hotel which we booked, we were required to stay at the City Hotel, which is not as updated and clean. We paid for a family room of four twins but received a room with two doubles, leaving one of our teenage sons to sleep on the floor. Absolutely wouldn't book with this family of hotels again for fear of an unrequested move.

Good location, two blocks from the Mack brewery, and walking distance to the downtown area. Good coffee in the lobby 24 hours a day.
