Volcano Rainforest Retreat

Gorgeous property, quiet and serene, loved sleeping to the rain. It is clear this place was a labor of love to build and is well maintained. The volcanoes national park was 5 mins away and so convenient. The little “town” of Volcano had good restaurants and art center. Would love to come back!

Ein unglaublich ruhiger und gemütlicher Ort inmitten des Regenwalds zum Relaxen und Verweilen. Wir waren als Familie mit 1 Kind im Guest Cottage für (leider nur) 2 Nächte und haben den Regenwald und die Nähe zum Volcanoes Nationalpark genossen. Die Unterkunft ist perfekt, Frühstück wird jeweils am Vortag nach Wunsch geliefert. Wir kommen sehr gerne wieder!

We stayed in two different cabins. The larger cabin was lovely for our party of four. The guest cottage was not well suited for us. The internet was not working and there was a small spider infestation (we saw 12 ish small spiders on the bedding). We ended up leaving early. The property is gorgeous. The sound of the rainforest at night is just incredible. The location near the national park is very convenient.

There isn’t much room to explore or be in the rainforest, which is a bummer but our first cabin had a large beautiful veranda.

It was lovely and so peaceful. We loved the breakfast baskets!!!!

Beautiful. Provided a beautiful experience. You really are surrounded by amazing plant life.

A must visit for a relaxing getaway.

We arrived after sunset and therefore could not assess the full scope of the property at arrival, but just arrived at our cozy cabin and could chill out in the outside Japanese tub, then fall asleep to the sound of the wildlife sounds. When we got up in the morning, we were greeted by a full blown rainforest. While I knew from pictures what it could look like, the real thing was more than stunning and a great experience.

So quiet and peaceful. Beautiful landscaping.

Price was sort of high for Volcano.
