Volcano Rainforest Retreat

This is one of the nicest bed and breakfast place I’ve stayed at in Hilo and it’s close to volcano national park about a 5 min drive! They will text you to meet you at the time you arrive to show you around and if you need anything you can text. The place does come with free wifi and it has a kitchen and free breakfast items. I loved the Japanese hot tub in the back but this place is so cozy in paradise tranquility! I definitely recommend this spot if staying in Hilo! Only thing is the closest grocery store is 30 min drive if you plan to cook here.

This property was truly enchanting. It was beautifully decorated, surrounded by the lush green rainforest, and lounging in the hot soaking tub outside in the middle of this was an unforgettable experience.

A peaceful and relaxing retreat.

This was the most serene and relaxing place we have stayed! The hosts are so charming and helpful but still give you a lot of privacy. The grounds are incredible! You feel like you’re in the middle of the rainforest! Great place to disconnect in nature. The restaurants in town were great too!

We had an amazing experience at Volcano Rainforest Retreat. It was just my husband and me on our annual "just us" retreat (no kids!) Our cottage was hidden from view by a thick tropical garden, making us feel like we were all alone in a jungle. We had a private Japanese hot tub outside and a shower- both hidden behind lush tropical plants. Every day, we were treated to a clean room and a basket with breakfast goodies. The location of the Retreat could not be any better- we were just a couple of miles away from the Volcano National Park and in close proximity to the village with several delighful restaurants. By the end of our stay (which was a whole week), we fell in love with this place. We defintiely plan to come back.

Beautiful, lovely romantic cottages. The owners rely invested a lot of love into the spaces.

Our cottage and the hospitality of the owners and their staff were all excellent. We are a family of 5 and we were very comfortable in our cottage. We enjoyed the jacuzzi too. The location of the cottage in the rainforest was beautiful. We highly recommend Volcano Rainforest Retreat.
