Traditional feel with the fireplaces and in a lovely quaint place. The room was small but clean and comfortable with a lovely view of the fields and spa out back. I loved the home made biscuits too. The restaurant was fine dining and had a lovely atmosphere for both evening meal and breakfast. The breakfast was relatively healthy and good choice, i got a huge pot of tea (great). The bar area is cosy and i really enjoyed sipping wine by the fire, the staff even gave is a pack if cards when we asked. Parking was fine 2 seconds down the road and we went for a walk around the fields to stretch our legs. Overall a very comfortable and wholesome stay.

The TV was intermittent but that could be because of the storm (Dave). I wasn’t too keen on having to walk through the bar and restaurant to access the rooms but its not a huge deal.

Absolutely wonderful stay for our wedding anniversary. The staff were fabulous and so friendly, the food excellent - highly recommend the fish and chips. So good I had it on both nights we stayed. Top notch breakfast too. Can't wait to return and stay again soon.
