The Hand at Llanarmon

Lovely country pub and facilities in a great quiet location. Staff were welcoming and attentative. Food was superb. We had an evening meal and breakfast the following morning. Great food and great choice on menu. Excellent.

If we had to be super critical - the pillows on the bed were a little limp and lacked plumpness for adequate support for us. This is personal preference of course but that literally was the only thing !! We're looking forward to our next stay already and setting some dates aside.

Staff were lovely. The location superb

The bathroom, the dangerous shower, the noise from the room next door (could hear them talking, their music, their singing until 3.30 am). The plumbing was awful - very noisy and no hot water unless tap poured fast for a few minutes - then very hot and unable to control temperature of shower - either stone cold or boiling hot - no in between. Bathroom fan bearing gone so couldn’t use as very noisy. There’s was no sound insulation between ours and room next door so any noise was heard next door.

Everything it was so cosy all the old features still inside and had a hot tub and sauna also the food omg probably the best food I ever had in my life was unreal

I loved the decor and the fore place in the dining area, it was sad no one offered a hot tub for us a d we didnt know it was there

A welcoming Welsh country pub with good rooms and a superb food menu.
