Hotel Kaiserhof

The hotel is excellent, as well as the location, very close to Kant Island and with good views to the river. The room was clean, new, spacious and with a very good housekeeping. Bed was very confortable and big. Breakfast is magnificent and restaurant is very, very good (and gives you a 10% off if you stay at the hotel) with excellent waiters and kitchen. The hotel staff is nice and very professional (there even was a receptionists who spoke perfect Spanish!). It has a superb SPA with a bar in the swimming pool that is very agreeable. The only downside was the young lady at the SPA reception, who seemed bothered to have customers, and repeated too many times before entering that kids were not allowed after 16:00 (even when it was 10:00, we already had been informed of that and the kids were behaving and perfectly quiet), as well as the boy in the swimming pool bar, who was really unmotivated. Anyways, the overall experience at the hotel was brilliant and I have to remark that the rest of the hotel staff was very good. To sum up, an excellent option to stay in Kaliningrad and one of the best places in which I have stayed in Russia. Congratulations 10/10.

The rooms were small, the shower was extremely small. It was very hard to take a shower without hitting the knob and turning the water to hot or cold or getting caught up in the curtain. We were there for 15 days with our 2 boys and instead of 2 beds it was a pull out couch. The restaurant inside the hotel had very limited selection and a high cost for very little food on the plate. Do not expect to find a y ice machines in the hotel, if you need ice you will need to go to the bar to get a small glass if ice. We called down to ask for ice and they claimed they would bring it to us bit after 2 hours of no one showing up we gave up.

Heel schoon, mooi. Goed ontbijt. Ligt perfect. Er werken aardige mensen.

Spa is available. It’s good point. But room is small and business like.

Mycket fint hotell med bra service och utsökt läge i staden. Lite strul med e-visum som krävdes av hotellet och vi kunde inte skriva ut det.
