Restaurant has fabulous menu offerings and is quite busy so book table in advance. Note super early 5.30am continental breakfast was available in case you are going out birdwatching or need to catch the ferry.

It's a bit of a hike to downtown and the Stornoway ferry terminal (1 1/4mi) but there is a bus stop at the nearby Co-op.

We stayed here 1 night. The public areas have been renovated and looked good. The rooms look old fashioned and need a refurb - although the shower was new. Staff were friendly and check in efficient. The rooms were clean and provided the basics

Absolutely perfect

Hotel is well situated for the town of Stornoway - in house food served to a good standard, good parking etc my only personal criticism- the bed in room 101- mattress issues. other than that it was enjoyable visit.

We called in for a coffee, it was so relaxing an atmosphere, that we stayed for extra coffees. Very courteous service and well appointed facilities. It would encourage us to return for a meal or overnight stay. Easy to find and plenty of parking spaces, with no parking charges or having to key in registration numbers

Very good breakfast. Good location. Staff very attentive

Room was too hot even in the cool temperatures outside and had steam coming past the window from a vent below - perhaps the kitchens?
