Trentham Motel

The Trentham Motel is a very basic motel which is badly in need of an upgrade. That being said, our unit was clean and the staff friendly and helpful. The excellent WiFi and the fact that all the Sky (pay TV ) channels were available help made our rooms short comings more palatable.

We were only there for 1 night and were upgraded and in Room 6, cant fault anything, would like to have stayed there longer.

Nice and clean get for the family with room for the kids. New updated kitchen and bathroom very neat and tidy. Would stay again for sure. Friendly staff and owners.

We only stayed one night & it was good. We were doing site seeing in Wellington City but it was booked out that weekend so had to go out of the city.

While it may not look like much from the outside, the Trentham Motel punches far above its weight. The lady at reception was very friendly, and when we arrived offered to upgrade our booking to one of their newly refurbished rooms at no extra charge. What a pleasant surprise! A modern, tidy room with good kitchen and bathroom facilities, and an effective heat pump - exactly what we needed on a freezing cold night. A short drive away from central Upper Hutt, close proximity to various takeaways, SH2 and the Trentham rail station made this an easy stop on our journey. Our sincere thanks to the Trentham Motel for making this business trip that much easier!

Motel Unit very comfortable and warm, Very friendly hosts and very quiet and close to shops and eating places.

Comfortable, clean room. Comfortable bed. Great shower. Room had all we needed for overnight stay.

Clean and comfortable, perfect for the price! Had everything required for an overnight stay and th location works for us.

Everything was good Tidy, clean, reasonably quiet ( no road noise) well situated Excellent shower. We were wrapped with what we found in a modest looking set-up and would definitely use them again

Made very welcome on arrival and directed to our unit. The unit appeared to be recently refurbished and clean. The beds were very comfortable and coming from the Hawkes Bay to a very cold day in Upper Hutt, we were delighted to find electric blankets on the beds. Had trouble getting the stovetop to work and the Proprietor came to our assistance the moment we requested help. Unit has been finished to an excellent standard and I would definitely stay at this motel again. Highly Recommended.
