"Lovely stay"

Breakfast excellent choice Eileen looked after us so well starting with tea and cake in the beautiful garden we met her 5 lovely cats. Ideal place for touring Hadrian's wall we really enjoyed our stay . Thank you

Very welcoming with tea and cake on arrival. Sofa in the room which was a bonus, the room was very comfortable with space for the dog bed. The dog was made very welcome with a field next door to walk her. Beautiful gardens and lovely breakfast. No extra charge for the dog which was a bonus.

The cats, the cats and the cats! Lovely garden to explore. Such an interesting place to stay. House was spotlessly clean, tasty ample breakfast. Eileen and Shirley were very friendly. Lovely cake on arrival.

Excellent choice of breakfast and loved the chats with our host. Eileen was very informative and couldn’t do enough for you. Fabulous guest house peaceful calming &idyllic with beautiful surroundings. Added bonus being able to see first born lambs in the field surrounding the property.

A lovely rural setting - a warm welcome from the owner - a very comfortable room and a good breakfast.

Not a major problem, but we found it necessary to travel 10 miles to Hexham each evening to get an evening meal, as there are few eating places available locally.

An absolute must stay for any cat lover. Eileen is a superb host. The room was comfortable and well equipped, breakfast was delicious including homemade jam and fresh juice. We had a wonderful time exploring the local area and hanging out with the cats - will definitely look to stay again in the future. Thank you!
