Room was a bit small

It is in a nice quiet little village . It was great to get away from the centre.

Our room was very small and we are glad we stayed just the one night.

A little gem, family run hotel. It’s not perfect, but it didn’t matter. We stayed with our dog, and couldn’t have been more welcome by the staff. Nice comfy room, ( superior double ) and a good lively bar, used as much by the locals as the guests. Breakfast was set up for us in the bar as dogs are not allowed in the terrace restaurant. The breakfast was as good as you’d find anywhere, and plenty to choose from. Our dog was even given a little bowl with sausages. I took a punt, because you don’t really know, and it paid off. Lovely, thanks all.

Friendly staff, one of whom was extremely helpful in the morning when I highlighted a problem to her. Excellent breakfast.

No heating or hot water last thing at night or first thing in the morning. A member of staff was able to sort the heating fairly quickly but not the water temperature. A wedding gift to a family member from Canada so disappointing to have a cold start to the day.
