We liked the decor and the food in the evening. Breakfast was a bit basic.

Couldn't have been better, from the attention we received to the meal in the evening. All the staff were lovely and went out of their way to help.

Room was a bit lacking, with an uncomfortable bed. The floor creaked easily which meant you could easily hear everyone else that was staying. Amenities were a bit lacking; hand soap provided, as well as an unidentified soap thing in the shower that could have been shampoo or shower gel, but seemed to be the same hand soap watered down.

A. I’ve little village pub. Excellent food and drink. Great hosts. Rooms a little basic but the above mentioned makes up for it! Will stay again

Just be aware that on certain days you cannot checkin before 6pm

Stayed overnight after attending a wedding nearby. Comfortable clean room, not noisy at all (despite being above the pub), very nice breakfast the following morning, staff all very pleasant and helpful.
