.The bar staff and quality of beer.

Really uncomfortable bed in the smallest room, with terribly outdated decor, no charging facilities, and a dark brown bathroom suite! The breakfast, at £16, was poor value for money

Breakfast was excellent. The location was perfect and the staff were all very friendly

The food, location and the friendly staff. Clean and comfortable, with a proper bath. An ideal hotel for my base on a short cycling tour of Teesdale.

Furniture and carpets are looking a bit tired in the bedroom.
