Great location. Lovely host. Beautiful room with ensuite. Great parking. Brilliant restaurant practically next door.

The only thing we didn't like was the time it took for the hot water to come through.

The property was quirky and very comfortable, in the middle of exceptional grounds, featuring bluebells, wild garlic, amazing fungi and deer! David was very kind, allowing us to check in early. We really liked Fed & Watered Cafe for breakfast (less than 10 minutes walk away), Elvaston Cafe, and Ye Olde Cross community pub, Ryton (5 minutes drive, or bus ride).
