Tribe Hotel

I only got to stay for 1 night on this occasion, but I will definitely come again if I return to Nairobi. The staff were very helpful and welcoming, and transfers that I arranged were reliable and safe. Special thanks to Benjamin, Jeff, Mike, Violet & Cornelius for making a wonderful visit even better.

This is my favorite hotel in Nairobi, great service, excellent food and drinks, professional and very friendly staff, this is my happy place.

Wonderful hotel in Nairobi. It was sleek and modern but with a definite nod to its Kenyan heritage. Extremely well run with an exceptional staff and lovely spa. (Shout out to Nixon in housekeeping) We stopped by before and after a safari and very glad we did. There’s also an incredible mall right next door with great shopping and fantastic restaurants. Highly recommended.

We knew we were in for a special stay, right from the welcome at the airport and check in from the car, to the beautiful room and gorgeous breakfast!

Had a delightful visit. The hotel is very nice and the staff are exceptional. This was my first visit to Nairobi, Kenya and I had a wonderful time. Shopping and restaurants are close. You might never leave the facility. Visit all of the Tribe restaurants.

Landed at Tribe in Gigiri after a red-eye and honestly, the place just felt right from the lobby. That massive tree in the middle, low lights, and the smell of fresh coffee hit me like a hug. Checked in fast, room was huge – king bed that swallowed me, rain shower that actually rains, and a balcony overlooking the pool. WiFi screamed (important for my meetings), and the blackout curtains meant I actually slept. Breakfast? Killer. Fresh juices, proper Kenyan coffee, and the chef made me an omelette with veges on the side without blinking. Dinner at their restaurant was vibey – chicken, cold Tusker. Staff remembered my name by night two, which always wins points. Only tiny gripe: the AC was a bit dramatic on night one, but housekeeping fixed it in five minutes. Left feeling recharged and already plotting my next excuse to come back. Tribe’s a solid 10/10 for business travelers who still want soul.
