"A pleasant, basic choice without any frills"

Was a very basic hotel but exactly what we needed for the trip we were taking. Staff were friendly and helpful and room comfortable and clean.

Very basic and needed a little love and modernisation.

"My second visit, could be a wonderful destination."

A good location. Lovely grounds. Quite position

Two rooms were booked. We should have been told that one of the rooms was up a very narrow flight of stairs in the roof space. No restaurant facilities on arrival, after a six hour drive we had to go out for a meal. Improvements in the decoration were being made but, in the breakfast room why paint all the windows so they can never be opened. Very poor workmanship.

The size of the hotel, the location/ grounds. The parking was a bonus!

The blinds in the room didn't quite reach the bottom of the window. The sink plug was grimy
