Hotel Approdo

This hotel os situated a short walk away from Santa Margherita and a stone throw away from the seaside where you can safely swimm. Fabulous service by the reception employees. All is pleasant and made easy.

Ystävällinen henkilökunta, siistit huoneet ja mahtavat maisemat. Paljon rappusia ja suuret korkeuserot, joten ei huonojalkaisille. Sopivalla etäisyydellä sekä Rapallosta että Santan Maria Liguriesta, jonka rautatieasema kylläkin lähempänä. Kannattaa ajoittaa heinakuun 1.-3. -päivien ajaksi, jolloin Rapallon syntymäpäivä ja mahtavat ilotulitukset! Ainoa miinus oli suhtautumisessa keliakiaan. Vaikka ilmoitin asiasta etukäteen, sain vain voileipäkeksien tyyppisiä biscits-keksejä ja sitruunakakun tyyppisen pienen makean kakkusen. "That is just something we don´t do" - asenne ei mielestäni ole enää nykyajan palvelua. Tähän puoleen kannattaa varmaan paneutua!

Sehr gut geführtes, kleines Hotel mit schöner Aussicht. Sehr freundliches Personal an der Rezeption (auch deutschsprachig). Frühstück für 3 Sterne in Ordnung (weiches Ei muss aber selbst gekocht werden, keine Eierspeise), Zimmer mit Balkon und Meerblick, sehr sauber, geräumig und gut ausgestattet. Parkplatz vor dem Hotel (Reservierung nötig, Extrakosten). 2 kleine Badebuchten in unmittelbarer Nähe, sauberes Wasser, nicht überfüllt (Juli). Gute Schiffverbindung nach Portofino vom Nachbarort, schöne Ausflugsziele in der Umgebung (Camogli, etc). Weniger gut: laute Straße von früh bis spät stark befahren (Juli), Schlafen mit offenen Fester nur mit Oropax möglich. Auf dieser Straße muss man auch in den Ort gehen - ca. 15 Minuten - besser mit dem Auto fahren! Abgesehen von der lauten Straße aber ein gutes Hotel!

Great place, people friendly and helpful We have returned to hotel Approdo for 7 years and it still is our favorite place to stay.

Superb, friendly, helpful staff. Lovely & clean with a fresh modern white decor. Perfectly situated for a stroll into Rapallo or Santa Margarita for restaurants, cafes & bars. Also a great base to get boats, buses or trains to the rest of Liguria, including Cinque Terra, Portofino & Genoa. Beautiful views of the sea and the hills. 5 stars from me, with special thanks to Cinzia & Laura for their sunny & helpful attitudes, and untiring tolerance of my poor Italian language skills.

Excellent, close walking distance to Rapallo and Santa Margharita, despite the unusual heat. Small but comfortable , ver clean. Excellent staff

Amazing view! Cute little local beach ... no frills. Friendly service at reception & breakfast was spot on. The beds are very hard so that doesn’t suit my back & also would be nice to have maybe cushions for the sun loungers ... fantastic value for money tho.

Nice staff. Hotel a bit old but clean. Corridor noise a problem for ma as I am a light sleeper.
