The bed and pillows were very uncomfortable. But other than that, the hotel is a great value for the area.

Spaces rooms, great location between Rapallo and Santa Margherita, with beautiful beaches nearby and easy to get to from the train station. Very clean and friendly and helpful staff. Beds are supper comfy!

It’s a basic 3-star hotel but it definitely deserves a 5 star review because the rooms and the whole hotel was SO clean, the rooms were nice and quiet and the owners are super friendly and helpful. There are many good restaurants only 15 min walk from the hotel (Santa Margherita). We also walked to Portofino (1h 15min) and it was a nice way to see the area.

Das gesamte Personal war sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Die Zimmer sind sehr ruhig. Das Frühstück war einfach aber sehr lecker.

The front desk staff are very helpful. The hotel has a beautiful view of the sea.

Good accommodation generally comes at a premium on the Portofino promontory and much of it appears to be stuck in something of a time warp. This makes l’Approdo, a fine modern hotel just off the road between San Michele and Santa Margherita, something of a rarity : value for money. Impeccably clean, with well-appointed bright white rooms, a pleasant breakfast terrace, a 24-hour coffee lounge and a genuinely warm and helpful reception staff. There’s no pool but it’s a five-minute walk across the road and down to a stony beach when needed; you can also walk in either direction (along a busy road with sometimes no sidewalk) to a choice of restaurants. The hotel’s parking is not only limited but a little adventurous on a steep incline; be sure to reserve a spot in advance. These are minor negatives in an overall highly recommended and affordable positive.

Beautiful just renovated hotel with a stunning view. Is very close to Sta Margherita (walking distance). The staff is amazing, 5 stars service for a price of 3 stars. Everybody incredible nice and friendly! Breakfast was delicious and fresh. Spacious room and perfectly clean. Much better than the photos!!!!! Highly recommend the hotel. Is a 10.

Das Hotel ist sehr Sauber und gepflegt. Sehr schade ist die Parkplatz Situation.

Härligt läge med närhet till liten strand och bad. Gångavstånd till både Rapallo och Santa Marguerita. Tyst och lugnt. Mycket trevlig och hjälpsam personal.
