this place was absolutely GROSS!!! do not pay for such filthy grossness…. slimy, filthy disgusting!!! not fit for dogs

The room was nice. Had 1 king no smoking, had mini fridge, microwave, coffee maker, even a small couch and 2 tvs. Was pretty spacious. Staff was nice ground floor had a bar, nice communal area like a giant living room. They even had a pool. Smelled clean as soon as you enter to book. Highly recommend.

We picked this hotel specifically for the website photos of the pool and hot tub. The pool was freezing, there were no towels, it didn't look anything like the photos, AND the hot tub was filled with cement. The body wash in our shower was empty. The elevators "overheated" and weren't working and then only one was working. Just a really disappointing stay. We won't be back.

I booked and paid for stay with booking.com. When I arrived I was told by the front desk that my reservation was cancelled because booking.com never “paid “ the hotel. Which is odd because I have a confirmation from the hotel and booking.com stating paid in full. I would never do business with this hotel again. I am extremely disappointed with both the property and booking.com. I’ve been business with booking.com in past and I am unsure if I will in the future.

Rating: ⭐☆☆☆☆ If there were an option to give less than zero stars, that is exactly what this property deserves. We stayed at this hotel from April 25–27, 2026 for a family wedding where this property was designated as the host hotel. Despite reservations being made months in advance, some family members were turned away while others had to find accommodations elsewhere. From the moment we arrived, the experience was a complete disaster. The front desk was unattended with a lobby full of guests waiting, elevators were broken or unreliable, and staff openly stated the elevator “does not stop on the 3rd floor,” where our rooms were located. The rooms themselves were absolutely disgusting and should never have been rented to guests. In the first room we encountered: * White stains and embedded debris throughout the carpet * Dirty and stained bedding and towels * Stained furniture and tables * Mold and mildew on walls and around the bathroom/shower area * Hair, grime, soap scum, and residue throughout the shower, clearly showing it had not been cleaned * Empty soap, shampoo, and conditioner dispensers * Missing or damaged lock components on the door * A Keurig coffee maker containing visible sediment and mold buildup We reported the room immediately and were moved to another “upgraded” room, only to find many of the exact same problems: * Additional stains on towels and bedding * Dirty bathroom surfaces * Mold around the showerhead and shower areas * More stained carpeting and unclean conditions overall Nothing about these rooms appeared sanitary or properly maintained. Due to the hotel being sold out because of local events and our family wedding, we had no choice but to stay. We ultimately slept on top of the bedding using our own blanket because the linens appeared unclean. The problems extended beyond the room: * Rugs throughout the 3rd floor were lifted and puckered, creating serious trip hazards * Stairways were poorly maintained * Elevators remained unreliable throughout the stay On our last morning, someone believed to be housekeeping opened our room door at approximately 7:30 AM without knocking, despite checkout not being until 11:00 AM. Completely unacceptable and a serious invasion of privacy. This hotel is marketed as an upscale property, but what we experienced was unsanitary, unsafe, severely understaffed, and completely misrepresented online. For the amount paid, this was one of the worst hotel experiences my family has ever had. I would strongly caution anyone considering booking this property.

We booked Cambria Hotel Columbus Polaris for our wedding weekend, and it was a major failure from start to finish. This was not a casual stay. This was a coordinated wedding event with multiple guests, and the hotel was clearly unprepared to handle it. Rooms were not ready or properly prepared, communication between staff and our group was disorganized, and when issues came up, there was little urgency or accountability from the team. On top of that, there was an elevator outage that affected guests, and our scheduled group breakfast was mishandled and confusing. Instead of support, we were left managing problems ourselves during our own wedding weekend. To their credit, management later acknowledged the issues and offered a 50% adjustment on some rooms. But that only came after the damage was done, and it does not come close to matching the level of disruption we experienced. We are still dealing with incomplete clarity around billing and adjustments. What stands out most is not just that things went wrong, but how poorly it was handled in real time. There was a lack of coordination, a lack of urgency, and a lack of care for an event that mattered. If you are thinking about using this hotel for anything important, especially a wedding or group event, think twice.

That there really was not any amenities no pool no breakfast nothing bar closing early

I liked that there was plenty of food places and stores around the hotel.

The room was filthy mcnasty. It needs to be thoroughly cleaned and sanitized. Hot tub in the room was broken.

We booked a room over 6 weeks before we were scheduled to arrive. Our credit card was charged immediately for the room. A week before arrival I called and informed the hotel staff that we were going to be arriving late because of a concert we were attending. The person said she would put notes into our reservation and it wouldn’t be a problem. Well when we arrived at 12:00 AM after a long day and just wanting to go to bed, we were informed the VP of the hotel (Rhea Patel) canceled our reservation because they overbooked leaving us without a room. There was also no rooms available at nearby hotels. Leaving us stranded out of town in the middle of the night. I would think if they took your money 6 weeks in advance there would be a room waiting for you. I called multiple times and sent a email to let Rhea know how dissatisfied I am with her lack of concern, but with no reply. Very inconsiderate and disrespectful, and it shows how little regard they have for their customers.
