Holiday Inn & Suites Memphis - Wolfchase Galleria by IHG

Bed was comfortable, room clean. Breakfast was good. Close to Wolf Chase Mall, numerous restaurants nearby.

No problems or issues during our stay

The location was good with plenty of stores and restaurants nearby.

Our room was fine but the bathroom had a broken light switch (always on), shower head was cracked and a little bit of mold in the shower. The hotel was overbooked - and since our stay was just one night - we were ok. It needs some updating and maintenance. The staff were so kind that we didn’t complain.

The room was quiet, clean, and comfortable.

The shower appeared to be a little dated. But everything was clean and user friendly.

I made a reservation for this hotel 2 weeks before my travel date but was not able to stay at it because when I arrived they told me that they had overbooked themselves and had no room for me. They had made a reservation for me at another Holiday Inn about 25 minutes away, but I had booked the room in Wolfchase in order to be in close proximity to the hotel where my high schooler's running team was staying (due logistics for picking up and dropping off for practice/dinner/last minute needs/race day/etc), so the alternate option was not a good solution for me. Additionally , after I was told there was no room and was sitting in the lobby trying to find another option, someone else checked in after me. I'm not sure what the circumstances were, but I was a bit surprised to see someone else check in after I was told that there were no more rooms available. In short, if the location of your stay is essential, it might be wise to book elsewhere.
