The room was so clean. I felt like it was clean enough that I could sleep on the floor. That is saying something for a hotel!!

Motel is excellent and clean. The room is the problem and one staff member. I reserved a handicap room with shower. I received a regular room for one. It’s for one, as the bed is next to the wall. No way to get in that side of bed. I Brought it to the attention of the front desk. Our room was occupied. The staff the next morning was great in getting our reserved room back. As soon as the room was vacant, they immediately cleaned it and offered to help move to room. One member of the staff said we would be comped because of the problem. A couple of days later I checked to see if I was comped for the bad room. The person next to the person I was talking to interjected “I happen to be the General Manager and you are not comped because you did not put a note on your reservation that you need a handicap room with shower. What the! I am 81 and never have received such an abrupted comment from a motel staff person. She then professed that she has great customer skill. When I mentioned that my wife was handicapped and she need that room she injected that she was handicap at one time. That comment was a no—no. She has no customer skills. In 5 minutes talking to her, mostly having to listen to her nonsense of me being blamed for the problem, she took a 4/5 review to a 1/5 review. She would not listen to my side. Handicap room issues. Bathroom: Shower wand must be clogged as water pressure is very low. Seat is worn. Does not stay up fully. If bumped, comes part way down. Hard to push down. When it does go down, it moves too fast, hard on the arms. If siting down, both soap dishes, soap and lotion bottles are out of reach. Soap and lotion are unreachable next to the bathroom sink. Room: Door should be 5lbs (per ADA) pressure to open. It is much higher. Two requests were made and were ignored. My wife could not budge it. Bed too high. It should be no higher than 23 inches per ADA recommendations. Bed lamps are unreachable once in bed. This room has about the most handicap issues and problems we have seen. The rooms are not suites. They are a budget standard size room with min kitchen with full size fridge .

Free laundry facilities. Good location.

The bed was so close to the wall on one side I had to slide off the foot of the bed.

Excellent in all areas from check in to check out only negative if I had one is we had a room on first floor and the room above us waked us up around 430 am in the morning sounded like they were having a furniture moving party with a bull.

The hotel has a borrow cabinet that can be utilized for such needs that might arise. We borrowed a small bake oven to cook pizza in that was most beneficial. Hats off to this concept.
