Our family stayed at Hyatt Place to attend and participate in our granddaughter/niece/cousin's Bat Mitzvah. We had a great stay. The hotel service was wonderful! We were checked in by the assistant manager, Laquandra, and she was wonderful and very accommodating. Cherie at breakfast each morning was awesome. She was so courteous and went out of her way to make sure we had everything we needed to enjoy our breakfast. Cherie is the epitome of outstanding service. She greeted us with a smile each morning, checked on us frequently and brought refills of our drinks. She really made our stay. The room was spacious but lacking adequate hanging due to 4 women, all with long fancy dresses, sharing a room. There is a nice pool area where you can sit and relax in the sun. The hotel is directly across from the entrance to the Sarasota airport which was very convenient. It was also within 20 minutes drive of all the places that we visited for the weekend festivities, including the beach. I would stay there again next time we visit.
Need to do better with housekeeping service and with door battery to prevent inconveniences
breakfast and staff was incredible but unfortunately elevator was broken and we didn't have promised microwave in our room and pool was overtaken by same people all day along and it looked like family reunion but not room for us to enjoy it
