A friendly, warm welcome with an exceptional feel of throughout the whole hotel, staff are caring, beautifully mannered and make you feel right at home.

The original features of the building were beautiful.

The room that we had booked with the whirlpool bath had a mattress that must have been 20 years old. We could feel every spring and see them when we removed the sheets. We had driven for 5 hours after working for 10. I can not express how disappointed we were. The bath was also extremely old and didn’t look like the pictures at all. The bed in the second room we were given was fine. However, the room was extremely unclean. There were bugs coming out from the woodwork in the toilet. The room was so dusty, I felt sick in the morning and didn’t eat the breakfast that we had paid for. After attempting to come to a reasonable resolution of the issue with the owner, who spoke to my wife as if she had a problem for addressing an issue, we left without any acceptable compensation. He didn’t even offer to refund the difference in cost as the second room was cheaper than the first. Luckily, we had seen how much the cheaper room was. An awful experience.

Room size was great. Staff were lovely. Location was suitable for us exploring around North Wales.

Food was not great. Got dinner there one evening and it was very overpriced for the quality. Breakfast was included but not very good / varied - very fried. The room itself was not that clean - cobwebs all over. Shower was terrible - poor water pressure, took ages to wash my hair. The 'spa bath' was not worth advertising - sounds luxe but the reality was far from it. There is random useless furniture dotted all over the hotel, Xmas decs still up at Easter. Just feels a bit like the place that time forgot yet they charge prices comparable with a 4 star hotel.

Loved the staff very friendly it was just the room . We booked last minute and got the last room . Toilet was very noisy when flushing , when running water in sink water ( dirty water ) was coming out the bath . Cleaned it out but then I came back . After having a bath my partner wanted one but we had to wait 15mins for water to go down plug. It was very clean just them to faults . Never said anything as the owner was not around when we left, just the lady who cooked a fantastic breakfast and was lovely.

Everyone was so friendly, the place was absolutely gorgeous and we especially loved the whirlpool bath and our amazing bedroom 😍

There was a few bits that need a bit of a touch up but really not much at all
