I absolutely fell in love with Carmel River Inn! Every visit to the inn office I was met with friendly staff. My cottage was very clean and equipped with everything I needed during my stay. It's a great location and very close to grocery, restaurants, Big Sur, and Point Lobos State Reserve. I loved the ambiance and California vibe of the inn/cottages and I will be back! Highly recommend a stay here.

This place is amazing, you have no idea how close you are to Highway 1, so convenient yet so peaceful. We had a cabin with a wet bar and our friends had a cabin with a full kitchen, they were both wonderful. It is a large property but the well lit paths lets you easily wander around. The landscaping was beautiful and serene. We had our dog with us and was easy to walk him around the grounds. The cabin was well equipped we cooked dinner at our friend’s cabin one night and didn’t need for anything. Ours had microwave, refrigerator, coffee maker and sink. Beds were super comfy and it was so quiet at night we all slept really well. The soap and hair products were of high quality and smelled really good. I’m hoping to go back. Location is perfect, it took minutes to get to downtown Carmel and major shopping centers are across highway 1.

Right off the main drag which made the hotel accessible both to restaurants and to beautiful natural sites to visit. The room had all the amenities you might need plus the front desk had delicious coffee available early. The staff was friendly and always available.

Charming cabins/cottages just off hwy1. Close to a large shopping center, beaches, point lobos, Carmel Valley entrance and the entire Monterey Peninsula. Very quiet and private.
