The location & free parking is fab

Welcome very poor. Room very basic. TV didn’t work & shower only a trickle. New Year’s Eve celebration menu was an absolute joke! Felt like a stay at Fawlty Towers.

No breakfast this time. The doors next to the rooms being locked...no staff around until after 9am to open the doors

"OK until the morning which was scary"

We were locked in on the second floor in the morning and we couldn't get out but luckily the fire escape door was open it was quite scary going down steep steps..they were slippy as it had been snowing. I panicked thinking if a fire broke out...we rang the hotel several times but nobody answered. It really was frightening and spoilt otherwise a nice stay.

"Ideal for central location."

Central location just in front of the Alnwick castle gardens ( which at time were lit up for Christmas)

Possibly it was empty overnight other than us?
