Always stay here , lovely stay

The hotel is in a great location, and a wonderful chance to stay in a very well presented Victorian mansion. Walking distance to town, with some great pubs and restaurants, but far enough away to save you from hearing the weekends late night revelry.

Lovely hotel and location. Friendly staff, superb room and great breakfast. No complaints at all thanks a lot.

Excellent family run hotel, made to feel at home. Great breakfast, with a wide range of options. Room clean and well presented as was the bathroom. Might benefit from thermostatic controls on shower as hot water was piping hot. The owners are clearly committed to making a very pleasant hotel even better and making their guest's stay a memorable one.

Great break, lots to see and do. We will return in the future.

found everything to be first class, close to town and local prom , very clean and very well equipped, i highly recommend this hotel

Booked a single room for two nights, I'm quite a xl man so the room was ok, very small bathroom and shower. Lovely 4 year old met us on her arrival with her mum the owner, nice breakfast and surroundings ...

The Bowden is a nice clean hotel with friendly and very welcoming staff. Meals were excellent, hot and tasty and there was a lot of varieties to choose from. I would definitely recommend this hotel
