Bowden Lodge Hotel

Another stay at this hotel - fortunately the new owners have kept up and even exceeded the standards set by the previous owners, Very convenient for us visiting an elderly relative nearby.

Lovely hotel ideally situated within walking distance to Lord Street and the railway station. The hotel has a cozy atmosphere, Good breakfast, and very clean we couldn’t praise the hotel enough. We have been going to this hotel for a number of years. The new proprietors Andy and Jane are a lovely welcoming couple

Lovely guest house close to town centre. Rooms clean and comfortable with good breakfast. Very friendly hosts.

Had a lovely time in Southport. Bowden lodge was a great central location with lovely atmosphere and friendly staff. Double bed too soft is the only negative. Thanks for a lovely stay 😘

Such a hospitable place. Warm welcome nothing too much trouble. Only thoughts would enhance it would be electric showers in rooms not mixer tap one. Breakfast delightful and plenty of it. Nice touch with home made cakes. Easy walk to shops Marina and Pier.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Bowden Lodge. We had a very comfortable room that looked out over the garden with a great newly renovated en-suite. The best part of the stay though was the hosts. Jane was always so bright and friendly in the mornings, and gave us suggestions for local attractions, and Andy's breakfasts were a treat, and he was so kind and willing to offer any kind of help. They even gave my mum a book that she wanted to find a copy of, and it is now a prized possession of hers!

Lovely freindly hotel, had everything that we wanted for a weekend away, breakfast was nice and hot, people who visit will not be disappointed.

Great location, town centre and beach very walk able. The house is very nice, great features retained. All facilities are very good and we had a great 2 night stay. Free and safe parking a bonus. Breakfast very acceptable as was the warm welcome! We would stay again!
