As we had no reply to messages day before our booking we felt we had to cancel no refund was offered.

The member of staff were friendly, but they couldn't even defend this so-called establishment.

DO NOT STAY AT THIS HOTEL. The hotel isn't a befitting name for this establishment. Hostel, maybe. Hostels are better equipped. Building is in a poor state of disrepair, poor maintenance standards. No facilities as originally booked, so, very disappointed. Couldn't even offer a safely working iron. I strongly don't recommend this hotel. Owners should be ashamed and offer a full refund. I would glady offer my services to help them up their game, to maybe a 1 star at least. I do have to be taking photos of the failings of the owners, neglect.

The second member of team on site who showed us to our room was brilliant shame about the rest

We arrived to be rudely told to move our car to the rear of the property as they had a wedding on and had promised them the space at the front. We then went to be checked in to be told they couldnt find our booking and then that our room had been cancelled the man at the desk was rude about this and just stood looking at us as if we were daft. Another man then arrived who was told to sort the issue out. He attempted to load the booking back onto the sytem this man was very helpful and polite and chatted to.us and showed us to our room. He asked us to fill our details in and the original man shouted over rudely have you even got a spare room and if that system doesnt load up make sure you manually charge there card for the room. We explained we had already paid and wouldnt be paying again to which the original man just walked off and concentrated on all he was bothered about which was the wedding. When shown to our room the friendly man again said he would try to find the booking and I reinforced we wouldnt be paying again as we had had no correspondance that the room was cancelled. The room we were shown to stunk of stale cigarettes. We left and returned around midnight when we came back the room next to us had the tv on load and were talking loud. We left this as we fell asleep I was woken around 4am with loud music now been played. I rang the night porter at 4.30 to report and he came up and had to bang on there door to get it turned off as they couldnt hear him. This for sure wasnt a good nights sleep. When we went down to check out nobody was at the desk for us to speak to about the awful experience we had encountered. I feel we should be refunded for this stay as it was an absolute joke from start to finish.

Did not go. Rung the hotel said there was no bar or food. They said the rooms were not bad. Reviews terrible

No reception staff on arrival took 10minutes to find someone to check in.Stayed in room 2 staircase carpet filthy and worn out.Our room stains on carpet and bedroom chair walls stained in need of decorating ,blue kitchen roll hanging from fire safety sign,filthy behind radiator.In the bathroom no bin or toilet brush towel rail hanging off wall ,toilet not flushing properly kept regurgitating the water after flushing.Shower not nice at all neither of us willing to use it.On checkout no one on reception keys put in a dirty fish bowl.No breakfast on offer which is odd for a hotel ,we never saw any staff our whole time there.Our grandson who stayed in room 3 had a similar experience.to us I feel we should be due a refund.If you have booked here you hopefully have time to change your booking to a proper hotel which is a shame.as with investment and staff this could be a lovely place .
