The location was the only positive This place rates as probably the worst accommodation I have ever stayed in!

What didn't I like? Absolutely nothing!!! There was no one on duty when I arrived, and the hotel was locked. Eventually the handyman came and let me in. They had no record of my booking (or payment) There was no hot water, I had to put the duvet cover on my duvet. The bathroom was in shocking condition and it was also so small and cramped. No staff. The place was dirty and neglected.

Nothing to like, awful old rooms , awful staff who lie, dirty rooms, staff scam you this was a man who worked there and promised me a refund as the room was not safe to stay in as the look on the door was barley even on looked like it had been kicked multiple times to make it wobbly

It wasn't what we booked. We didn't stay. We are trying to get a refund and we cancelled our stay as soon as we arrived. False advertising, no restaurant or bar, and they booked us in the room that I didn't book.

Unfortunately the property is very tired and outdated.

All the facilities that were mentioned on booking. Comfortable bed. A reasonable size room, not large but adequate. Lovely view. Good carpet.

On arriving there wasn't anyone around so I had to go and search. On a web site I read: "A very Warm Welcome awaits you". Mmmm. I found a gentleman who said he was a workman and he gave me a key and shown me my room. I later looked at the rim around the edge frill of the 4 poster bed to see a grey layer of dust around the fringe that was fixed to the top of the frame. I dread to think of the grey layer on the fabric at the top. The room and bathroom decor looked neglected It was a shame about a few things though. There was quite a strong unpleasant smell in the bathroom. I put the fan on and it stayed on all night. The smell was still there the next morning, seemed like a drainage smell, it was the shower drain. The sink and toilet were OK. After my shower the smell had disappeared and didn't return during the next 24 hours stay. Maybe it hadn't been used for some time. This should have been checked before letting out the room. The shower head rail was way up the wall on a very short rail and the slider was stuck. Sink size meant that the kettle couldn't be filled from directly under the tap. There was probably an obstruction in the sink pipe as water in the sink took a very, very long time to go down. The web site showed 'Restaurant and bar'. Nothing happened when I clicked on it. Breakfast used to be available a few years previously when I stayed. But on arrival, the restaurant room, that used to be the eating area, was full of furniture and obviously not in use. Again, no-one was to be seen. It is a hotel after all, and you expect something or somebody. No apology on the web site, or a notice in reception saying sorry, breakfast isn't available or, as decorating was happening at the hotel, a "Sorry for any inconvenience.
