Location excellent for visiting family in area

Location was lovely

Hotel is very run down , and poorly maintained Was freezing Bathroom was compacted and toilet was compacted into a corner with sink and shower right near it Screws holding tiles up on the wall Wasn’t worth the money contacted hotel regarding being kept up til 4 am by neighbouring room and refund no response

We were expecting a lovely country house with spa in a quiet location. We were not told that there was a wedding taking place right under our unglazed windows, the spa being a hot tub outside and the reception being a man in a tracksuit who had to be called to attend to us. Completely unprofessional. So bad we turned and walked back out. Disgraceful

Well situated near our relations we were visiting Lovely setting

Nothing. The place was closed. All bookings had been cancelled apparently.

I didn’t like any of it. Absolutely shocking!

Understandable there was a wedding on the same day. But we couldn’t have felt less appreciated for our custom. There was nobody on reception to check in with, room Was cold / not clean and had lack of Pillows and towels, then on returning back we couldn’t get into the room took 20 Mins for someone to come and let us in
